Making good use of space

When rapid expansion and a merger with Cogne UK led to Stephen Whale Services (SWS) moving to new 1100m2 premises, Wickens designed a storage solution to help the company make best use of available space. To prevent costly impact damage to racking uprights it supplied a series of barriers and protection posts. The integrated system for SWS is compatible with both the confines of the warehouse and new forklift trucks. Stephen Whale of SWS felt that it was beneficial being involved at the design stage, only possible as the company finalised the specification and drawing live on site. He was impressed with all aspects of the service received. Wickens provided a flexible solution which suited SWS's requirements. It painted the arms in different colours signifying the different loadings to safely ensure the maximum load per upright is not exceeded.
