Fit2Fit: Accreditation of choice for fit testers
June 1st 2010

Since the launch of the Fit2Fit accreditation scheme in January, over a 100 fit testers have been accredited or have applied to be assessed.

Applications are increasing on a daily basis and it is quite apparent that, because no other similar scheme exists, fit testers are increasingly seeing the Fit2Fit scheme as the best way to demonstrate their competence. The HSE supports the BSIF Fit2Fit scheme as an acceptable way of demonstrating fit testing competence and the BSIF understands, references will now be included in future codes of practice and health and safety guidance documents.
