The Safir Clean-Air respirator from Chapman & Smith is a fan-assisted unit that is light and comfortable to wear for long periods.

The turbo-fan unit is powered by an integral rechargeable battery pack that is carried behind the wearer's back on a waistbelt.

The turbo-fan feeds air, via a replaceable air-filter, to the face-shield along a lightweight, flexible hose.

The air enters the face shield behind the top of the head and exits below the chin. This air flow pattern helps prevent misting.
