Centralised solutions August 1st 2007 Dust Extraction has installed three centralised vacuum cleaning/bulk removal systems in Scotland for an aluminium smelting company. They join another Dust Extraction system that was supplied two years ago. The first new system was for the bath recycling facility, sized for 2 x 50mm capacity hoses carrying out heavy industrial vacuum cleaning duties or by 1 x 76mm operator carrying out bulk removal duties in elevator and underground conveyor tunnels. The system comprises six 76mm and nine 50mm hose connection points connected back to a filter separator which automatically discharges the collected materials into a vibratory screen and back to the client's mechanical handling process, with an exhauster package alongside powered by a 22kW motor. The system in the rodding shop is sized for four 50mm capacity, carrying out heavy industrial vacuum cleaning duties. The 15 connection points are connected back to a filter separator which automatically discharges the collected materials into FIBCs with an exhauster package alongside powered by a 30kW motor.
