New mist Many metalworking production plants are characterised by a typical odour – the oil-bearing vapours of the cooling lubricants can often be noticed even outside the factory gates. Donaldson Filtration says that this need not and should not be so.

It has introduced the WSO, a mist collector which operates efficiently and can be integrated easily. The device is said to reliably keep back aerosols. The separation rate for oil mist particles with a size of 0.07 to 1.2µm is about 99.97%.

The unit operates on the cross-flow principle.
