Ventilation system December 1st 2006 The Clustajet ventilator from Secomak is a compressed air-operated fan that has been designed for ventilation and fume extraction. With neither rotating fan blades nor motor, it is virtually maintenance-free and can be used in flameproof areas. Shockproof and easily carried, the device can be used in almost any application where ventilation or extraction is required and is said to be particularly useful for hazardous areas. Typical applications include the ventilation of sewers, tunnels, tanks and similar spaces requiring the transport of air, dust, fumes or dangerous gases over long distances. Clustajets are multiples of the company's Ringjet Airmovers – themselves bladeless, motorless fans that are fed from a common manifold. The entire unit is constructed in a steel casing. Several Clustajets can be connected in series by rigid or flexible tubes attached to either end of the main body to increase performance over long distances. This arrangement can also be used in reverse to supply atmospheric air from an uncontaminated source into the working area. Also available is the Monojet ventilator for extremely confined spaces. |
