Reverse jet filter December 1st 2005 Carter Environmental Engineers has supplied dust extraction equipment for use in a flue gas desulphurisation project at a coal-fired power station in Lincolnshire.
A Carter-Midac reverse jet filter handles dust created at hoppers where rail wagons discharge limestone. It has a bottom-mounted rotary valve that allows dust collected to be recycled into the system.
Sub-contractor Amco- Birtley also installed two Carter-Thorne Polytex L35 units above hoppers in which limestone dust is stored after the pulverisation process.
Carter-Midac reverse jet filters are available with a range of filter types and with filtration areas ranging from 6 to 1400m2. More articles from Carter Environmental Engrs Ltd: |
