For dust extraction August 1st 2005 Two Polytex dust extraction units from Carter-Thorne have been installed at the Stalybridge premises of Pigments, a company that makes daylight fluorescent pigments for a range of high visibility products.
They are sited outside the reactor room in which different resin powder and pigments are mixed prior to the production process.
Two more Polytex units with top-mounted HEPA filters are currently being installed and two more are being considered.
Polytex units of various sizes and extraction capacities may be sited inside and outside, even in restricted areas. The addition of a top-mounted HEPA operating with efficiency of 99.997% allows cleaned air to be vented back to the working environment.
Units have a powerful fan to extract the dust from individual or multiple workstations, trapping it in a filter bag system. In a multiple installation covering several workstations, units may be switched on individually, for energy efficiency. More articles from Carter Environmental Engrs Ltd: |
