Dust extraction system
December 1st 2005

Auto-Trail of Hull produces some of the larger models of motor caravans. On one such model, the one-piece wheel trim moulding is about 4m.

Four AirBenches from Workpoint Environments have been integrated into the workstations at the trimming position to provide effective dust extraction from the mouldings, without having to move them around.

Downdraught operation means there are no obstructions to large work pieces and ensures high throughput, while the uniform downdraught effect is said to provide excellent capture of high velocity dust coming off the cutting wheel.

Maintenance is limited to regular cleaning of integral filters and replacement of the disposable elements every four months on this high output operation.
