Rechargeable lamp

The Wolf Safety Lamp Company and Lyon Equipment are helping promote the PETZL Duo atex rechargeable head/helmet lamp within the UK, European and international hazardous area markets. They believe the Duo atex E61L5, with switchable led and conventional incandescent bulb dual system, to be the best rechargeable lamp of its type. The product enclosure makes extensive use of high impact, durable polcarbonate and is weatherproof. Output duration is 3.5h from the 6v incandescent bulb with zoom feature, or in excess of 12h (at maximum intensity) in the switch-over led mode, more suited to close quarter tasks. The manufacturer quotes a life expectancy of 10 years and the rechargeable battery offers 1000 recharge cycles.
