Seminar focuses on RPE August 1st 2008 The next BOHS one-day
seminar on respiratory
protective equipment takes
place on 7 October in
Sheffield and is aimed at
health and safety
professionals who deal with
chemicals or processgenerated
substances and
have responsibility for RPE
in workplaces.

and practical aspects of an
RPE programme, and

the Health and Safety
Laboratory and
consultancies will discuss:
the place of an RPE
programme within the
control hierarchy; types of
RPE and new developments
in the field; practical
experiences of running an
RPE programme in the
workplace; fit testing, its
importance and the latest
progress with a fit test
provider accreditation
scheme, and an overview of
confined spaces and escape
apparatus.

for non-members, including
VAT, lunch and refreshments,
and can be booked on-line
via the Event Calendar on
